That’s right! With fall here, we have decided that it’s time to shut down our farm stand for the season.
Please note that we are closing not due to lack of produce, but rather lack of variety that brings most of you out to the stand. After this market we anticipate still having an abundance of fall brassica crops (kale, collards, brussel sprouts, kohlrabi), as well as arugula, chard, and some lettuces mix, which we will try to sell to our restaurant friends in bulk, and/or offer to the public for bi-weekly pickup. Keep your eyes peeled for further info on that in the next couple weeks!
We’d also like to hear your candid feedback from the season on what you liked or disliked, and how we can improve for next year. Be on the lookout for that email or facebook link in the next week as well.
At our end-of-season final farm stand this week, we will be selling everything pictured above including:
- Dino and red kale
- Italian Parsley
- Lightning and Santa Fe hot peppers (final ones!)
- Cinderella Pumpkin (perfect for Thanksgiving pumpkin pie! only 4 left!)
- Rainbow swiss chard
- Lettuce salad mix
- Acorn, Delicata, and Spaghetti winter squash(only a few left!)
- Amish Paste, Gold Medal, and Black Krim heirloom tomatoes
- Green tomatoes
- Baby turnips
- Homemade bread
